It has been known to India for at least 3,000 years. Its name come from the ancient Greek word ‘Adamas which means ‘proper, unalterable, unbreakable, untamed. 

HOW TO WEAR DIAMOND

> Make sure that the weight of the gemstone should be at least 0.30 carat or above if it is for astrology purposes. 

> For better benefits of the stone start wearing Diamond on Friday morning during Shukla paksha [Lunar calendar] between 5am to 7am. 

> The ring or the pendant of the diamond should be worn in gold or silver for the best result. The ring should be worn on the index or the middle finger of the right hand. 

> The diamond should be properly purified and activated before starting wearing. To purify or activate the stone, dip it in Ganga Jal, Cow’s milk and honey for about 30 minutes. 

WARNING:- Be aware of the synthetic or duplicate Diamond. Aries, Pisces and Scorpio should never wear the stone as it can bring disharmony in your life according to astrology. It needs special care as you may lose such an expensive stone.

Before starting wearing opal, dip it in the mixture of 1 spoon of curd, honey, Gangajal, tulsi and ghee for 10 minutes to activate it.
