12 houses of vedic astrology

In astrology, the Horoscope is divided into 12 houses where each house is ruled by a different sign. Every house has its own sign and ruling planet. Houses from 1 to 6th are known as Personal House and houses from 7 to 12th are called Impersonal House. We use all 12 houses to predict someones' future or know about someone's nature, weak and strong areas. 

To find a horoscope chart - One must have complete knowledge about the birth date, birth time, and place. 


1st House

The first house is called “Lagna Bhava” in astrology which refers to “a body”. Therefore, this house control one’s individuality. The first house represents the native's body, physical appearance, and nature.
